Shady Willows Ranch is located at Hallonquist, Sk (35 miles south east of Swift Current.  The Busse family has called the same yard home for three generations. 

Our pride and joy of the Ranch is found in our love for good horses.  We have been involved in all aspects of the horse industry.  Everything from training and showing Cutting Horses, Ranch Horses, team roping, calf roping to utilizing horses on an everyday bases.  What we are most proud of is the opportunity to breed, raise, train and offer for sale quality horses.

Our Ranch consists of a mixed farm and livestock operation.  The farm side is made up of conventional farming along with pivot irrigation being found at our Herbert location.  Our Ranch also consists of a Custom Seeding and Combining business.  Our herd of commercial cattle makes up the livestock portion of the Ranch.

Our Endeavor - We feel we have built our program in a way that will allow us to offer quality horses in all aspects of today’s industry.  Over the years we have made some opportune acquisitions of Mares and Stallions, which has allowed us to move forward with a number of the top bloodlines in the industry.  With a lot of hard work and resources spent we are proud to raise and offer well bred prospects, broke and finished horses.

We are please to annouce the arrival of Spooney Tunes by Hes A Peptospoonful and out of Tony Langdons old show mare Playboys Angela that won about $180,000.  Tremendous Pedigree.  This six year old mare was trained by Terry Riddle and has won about $5000 in open competition. This is an awfully nice mare to be around.  She has a HUGE stop, Open caliber talent, she is big and beautiful.
